Media Production Internship Available for This Semester

Digital Media Internship

The Digital Media Department is an operating medium of the Office of Student Media at the University of Alabama. The department consists of two divisions:

•       multimedia (photo, video, audio, production)
•       web development

Digital Media exists to provide an outlet for students to utilize skills obtained in the classroom and apply them in a professional working environment.

The Digital Media Intern will:

-       Observe and participate in the development of all creative production aspects of all office projects.

-       Learn / Improve Production Skills (camera operation, audio, lighting, etc)

-       Learn / Improve Editing Skills while using Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro Software, After Effects, etc.

-       Develop interpersonal communication skills and office dexterities

The Digital Media Intern Agreement:

-       Interns can gain a maximum of 1 credit hour (115 hours) per semester

-       Interns will be required to devote eight (8) hours per week
o       Four (4) of which MUST be obtained during normal business hours
