Probably most every family has a charming, ne’er-do-well like Rolanda’s brother, Uncle Junior, played by Tim "Cutt-Up" McGee. Cutt-Up got his start at the age of twelve playing lead guitar in his band "Lovely." Born in Cincinnati OH, Cutt-Up is a rap artist, songwriter, producer and actor. He has studied acting at the Open Acting Space Studio in Milwaukee. Cutt-Up describes his current musical style as more rugged than anything, saying he is "between 50¢ and Scarface with a touch of Suga-Free." His five-year goals are to be the world’s largest independent artist, start his own film company and discover fresh new talent. In addition to performing at African World Festival, Cutt-Up has opened for 2Pac, Ice Cube, The Brat, Scarface and others. He is currently featured on a soon-to-be-released compilation with MC Breed on Revolution Records.
