Will Traylor, another of Eric’s close
friends, doesn’t have the fortune of a close, caring family like Eric
or designer clothes like Rashid. Will is played by John Luckett,
an aspiring NBA star. John is a eighth grader at Grand Avenue Middle School
in Milwaukee. He is proud of his basketball trophies and thanks his Mom
for her support.
When asked what being a part of the Gettin' Grown cast means to him, John
replied, "I am always thinking about getting grown, going to the NBA,
and getting my mom a big house." He promises to remember all the people
who got him started.
