To Do

Shot Logger is still in early stages of development. Much remains to do.

  1. Check to make sure a G_id has not been previously added.
  2. Hook into IMDb directly or through OpenDb to find title of TV program/movie.
  3. Map IMDb ID # to a name in admin/TitleList.php.
  4. How to deal with commercials? Separate episode into parts.
  5. Correct data from shotList.php, before it's imported into the Title List? Right now, it links to a details page.
  6. Remove the images from shotList.php? Can take a long time to load.
  7. Check to make sure the Gallery Album has not been previously imported. But what to do if it has?
  8. Use Spry to check forms for valid data.
  9. Use Spry to create sortable tables?
  10. CSS: separate data tables from other tables.
    1. E.g., Main admin page should not have the rollover effect that data tables use.
  11. Process filenames to excerpt timecode after they're imported. Then put the timecode in the frame's description (or summary). Can this be automated?
  12. Add field for alternative title (as in US title of foreign film). Make it searchable.
  13. Calculate cumulative data for Shot Logger:
    1. # of shots logged
    2. ASL of all shots
  14. Create administrative system for entering data.
  15. Create system to delete bad frames/data from SL.
  16. Add system to attach scale to a shot.
  17. Export album data as Excel spreadsheet.
